COURSE INTRODUCTION

Students learn how to advocate for their rights with common problems of everyday life, including: landlord-tenant, medical debt, contract disputes, car dealership scams, fixing bad credit, debt collection, consumer fraud, data breaches, and identity theft. Ultimately, participants are taught how to effectively document proof, file a small claims court lawsuit, and argue their case.  The stakes involved are too small for a business litigator to take (because they are paid by the hour), but they are of great significance to you or your business to pursue.
